Born and raised in the vibrant and infamous NYC, where art is a lifestyle and design is a necessity, it was no surprise to me when I discovered my creative abilities at the age of 14 with the help of my grandfather John who was also a designer. Fascinated by the programs he used (PageMaker back in those days) and the hum of his 300dpi Epson laser printer (I’m dating myself), I was inspired to design flyers for my class trips while my friends were busy trying out for school sports.
I knew that a career in design was the obvious choice, I continued my studies in Digital Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Upon graduation, I headed back to the Big Apple to jumpstart my career in design as a Graphic Designer with a downtown printing company, which later led me down the path of becoming a Junior Designer for a marketing company in TriBeCa.
With a strong desire and keen eye for print design, I decided to enter the world of publishing about four years and have since worked as a Senior Designer as well as Art Director for a variety of publications.
